Recent Event: Community & Culture Summit!

At the beginning of March, our EDIA board launched our long awaited summit, which feature panels, interactive workshops, and mixers all focused on supporting our community and culture in the world of theater and the School of Dramatic Arts. This was such an incredible day, and we were honored to host so many incredible panelists and guests! A special thanks to the Sparks center for being such gracious hosts. We look forward to putting forward more engagement opportunities for our student body.

Purpose

In EDIA, we strive to break down the barriers that our peers may face in their classes and shows, and advocate for their needs to reach a resolution. We work closely with our dedicated faculty and administration to curate lasting and sustainable improvements to our school community. Please reach out to us or fill out our anonymous comment box to let us know how we could best serve you and our community.

Our biggest resource is our TSA-Recommended EDIA Guidelines. Our EDIA team has‬ developed a comprehensive guide for the ISP community to promote the values and conduct we‬ believe are essential to reflect the changing landscape of the theatre industry. This document‬ tailors these values to be applied to student-made theatre at SDA with relative ease. It is filled‬ with our source materials and additional resources to examine. We consider this a “living‬ document”, intending for future generations of TSA EDIA board members or ISP board‬ members to alter it as our industry continues to evolve.
